Air Conditioning Service
SERVICE OVERVIEW
There are generally three main air conditioning components where issues arise. They are compressors, fan problems & refrigerant leaks.
Compressors – the compressor pressurizes the refrigerant so that heat can escape. The compressor has its own motor and a fair amount of electrical wiring. It works very hard and is susceptible to motor issues and electrical issues arising because of the work load put on it. The compressor is a complex device, and should only be handled by a certified technician.
Fan problems – your air conditioner has two fans: the blower (also known as the evaporator fan, including the condenser fan. The condenser fan removes heat, while the inside blower delivers the cool air into your ductwork. Common problems with fans are associated with the belts, motor and loose/bent blades.
Refrigerant leaks – refrigerant leaks are common problems with air conditioners, but finding them can be tricky, which is why a professional is better suited to handle a refrigerant leak. Leaking refrigerant lowers the level of performance in your entire system, which will lead to numerous other problems.
